Replacing Your AC? There Is Rebate Money On The Table
The 25C federal tax credit ended for systems installed after December 31, 2025, but North Carolina’s rebates did not. Energy Saver North Carolina pays up to $8,000 toward a heat pump, which can both heat and cool your home year-round. If you are replacing gas, propane, or oil heat anyway, or your system is due on both sides, that $8,000 changes the math completely. Duke Energy also rebates qualifying high-efficiency equipment with no income limit. We will price both ways and show you the real numbers.
